These are our most traditional style of dreamcatchers, the type originally made by the dreamcatcher's first creators, the Ojibwe.   These dreamcatchers are very similar in shape to a snowshoe.   The frame is formed by a bent around cedar branch cut from an Incense Cedar tree.   The webbing and the top hanging loop is formed with artifical sinew instead of the more traditional rawhide.   The artificial sinew has the same appearance and is less likely to sustain insect damage.   Hanging from the center are a few bone beads with natural heritage turkey feathers inserted.   You can select between three basic sizes, seen below.

These are basic hoop dreamcatchers, the type often time used for decoration in people's vehicles or houses.   They have a metal ring covered with colored leather, often times suede deerskin.   The webbing is a thick white cotton thread with both the top loop hanger and the bottom strands being made of matching leather.   Hanging from the bottom of the leather strands are colored turkey feathers inserted into glass beads, both of which are of a selected matching color scheme.   In the center of the dreamcatcher is another glass bead.   You can select the basic color scheme of your own preference.   The exact hue in your color scheme though will be Artist's Choice.

Items such as this were used as a protective amulet that can be placed upon the wall of a room of your house or in a window.   The basic material is a rabbit skin which has been laced onto a nine inch metal dreamcatcher ring.   The hanger at the top is a loop of deerskin leather.   Natural feathers have been also tied onto the outer ring with beads.   An animal can be drawn onto the white inside of the skin to bring that animal's totemic properties to your assistance as well.   We have listed a few options for you to choose from or you may contact us to ask that another animal be drawn specifically for you.
