Using this Kit, you will learn how to make an ancient form of art.   Petroglyphs are figures carved into rock by people throughout the history of the world.   In North America, petroglyphs were used to both record historical events and as an integral part of the cultural experience.   Each kit contains the supplies to make one portable Petroglyph.

CLAY BEAD MAKING
Using this Kit, you will learn how to make clay beads using a polymer oven-cured clay.   Many different materials were used to make beads throughout history with clay being one of the earliest.   With this kit, you will make enough beads to finish a bracelet.

PINE NEEDLE BASKET WEAVING
Using this Kit, you will learn the basics of coiled basket weaving.   This is one of two primary types of baskets that were made throughout history.   In California, coiled baskets were particularly important.   When access to traditionally gathered materials grew limited, many groups turned to using pine needles to keep the tradition alive.   This craft was shared by many pioneer women from various European traditions.   This kit includes enough materials to make a very small basket using pine needles and artificial sinew.   A second option includes the materials to make a pine needle medallion necklace.
